Chrysler Group CEO Dieter Zetsche, the German executive who turned around the stumbling Detroit automaker and presided over development of its boldest products in years, has been named to run German parent DaimlerChrysler. Zetsche’s promotion now leaves room at the top for Windsor, Ontario born Thomas LaSorda, who is currently the COO of Chrysler Group. The management changes will take place January 1, 2006.
