First 1000 Pontiac Solstice Hit the Streets
After all the waiting, the Pontiac Solstice is finally here! Well, 1000 of them anyways. The first batch was for those who preordered the “special edition” cars. The Solstice is poised to be a major hit for GM, at a time when they most need one. It’s unfortunate that they weren’t able to release the convertible closer to the start of summer, because with a backlog of preorders at dealerships it could be well into fall before those who didn’t plan ahead can get behind the wheel. Just in time for those brisk fall days, GM has said they will be releasing a detachable hardtop for the Solstice, which can be bought via dealership parts departments.
