Chevrolet Tacuma Vision for Canadian Market?
In the similar vein as the popular Toyota Echo hatchback, General Motors of Canada could be bringing more products to this country from GM companies around the world. The Canadian market is distinctive from the U.S. market, and GM is considering not offering the imports south of the border. Our market is becoming somewhat of a test bed for new models in North America, and a fairly easy source of new buys for European models. Due to the much lower volume compared to the U.S., offering a new car in Canada is simple a matter of slightly increasing production at an existing factory and some marketing. Compare that to the American market, where if the car is successful, a whole new production line has to be added to a factory to meet the volume.
