Toyota Sienna and Mazda RX-8 Recall
Transport Canada’s most recent list of recalls finger the Toyota Sienna minivan and Mazda RX-8 sports car. 4600 RX-8’s are being recalled due to some parts around the exhaust system melting if the engine is revved for an extended period of time while stationary. The problem can affect numerous systems, ranging from the oxygen sensor and the parking brake, to the fuel tank in the worst-case scenario. Toyota will have to recall 39,656 of its minivans to fix a seatbelt problem that can result in an improperly fitted restraint for passengers.
