Excessive: The 548-hp, Gullwing-Doored, Blue ‘n Orange Geiger Hummer H2
This is one of those cars that makes you scratch your head and wonder, “Just what were they thinking?â€. It’s insane, it’s mad, it’s wild: it’s a Hummer H2 tuned by Geiger Cars. Proof that the Germans do indeed have a sense of humor, this particular H2 looks like something to emerge from Need For Speed’s Underground series, complete with an outrageous Gulf-livery paint job, scissor doors, and 30 (yes, 30) inch wheels, on Pirelli Scorpion tires.
But the weird factor doesn’t end there. The Geiger Cars H2 is actually fast. Surprisingly fast. In itself, the 6.0 litre V8 engine found under the hood of the H2 is a pretty powerful unit, but add a supercharger as these insane Germans have, plus a host of other mods, and what you end up with is peak power ratings of 548 horsepower and 564 lb-ft of torque. That’s enough to move this brick-on-wheels to 100 km/h in well under eight seconds, and to an unbelievable 225 km/h.
