No Stretch of the Imagination: Long-Wheelbase Caddy DTS On The Way

After all sorts of V-Series jazz for the STS, XLR and CTS, Caddy has finally shifted its priorities back to big, cushy sedans like the DTS. To prevent Chrysler from walking away with all the sales from the factory-ordered limousine segment (just how big that is, we’re not entirely sure), GM has done what it should have done from the very beginning, and has stretched the DTS by eight inches. It’ll get all the high-end limo stuff, like individual rear controls and various other doodads to keep dignitaries and company executives at bay. After it’s LA debut, it’ll make life hard for the likes of the Lincoln Town Car.
