Alt-Escape: Facelift for Ford’s Small SUV
Ford’s getting a bit Edgy with the new Escape. Facelifted (again), Ford’s littlest SUV gets the eyes of a Ford Fusion, and the grille and details of the bigger Expedition. The cabin’s also been given a revision, similar to that of the Mercury Mariner SUV, which includes a new console that has an iPod jack and navigation system. It’ll be a quieter place to spend time thanks to improved noise insulation. Electrical power steering is the only mechanical update, so, for power, you’re stuck with the same V6, I-4 and Hybrid drivetrains.
