Honda to Make Diesel V6 for America

According to Automotive News, Honda is well on its way to introducing diesels to the North American market. They interviewed Honda’s CEO, who hinted that after the arrival of the oil-burning Honda in 2009 with the 2.2-litre turbodiesel (see European Civic, Accord and CR-V), that the next engine in line would be a turbodiesel V6. That engine would go towards powering the Odyssey, Ridgeline, Pilot and perhaps the MDX. It would also be a logical addition to the European Honda Legend (Acura RL). Sounds like they’re on a roll.
