Lexus: F is for Fast
Lexus is considering starting its own performance division. Audi’s got quattro GmBH (responsible for those yummy RS-cars), BMW has M-Motorsport, and Benz has AMG. Lexus would get “F”, which, aside from sharing the same first letter as “Fail”, would stand for “Fast”. Both “F” and “IS-F” have been filed for trademark, which means that that “fast” IS - the so-called IS500 - we’ve been hoping for should be on the way.
