Edition Limited One launches new smart fortwo
After countless limited edition and special edition versions - a sure sign of a dying model - smart pulled the plug on the old fortwo. Hooray, we thought; time for a new model, no silly tricks. Well, we were wrong. Smart is introducing the new fortwo with a special limited edition “Edition Limited One” model. Urgh.
On the outside, the body panels have been painted in pyrite gray metallic, while the shell and mirrors are silver. Inside the seats, steering wheel, shifter, and floor mat piping (!) have been finished in worn-in cognac Nappa leather. Edition Limited One cars come fully equipped with all the goodies, but are only available in Coupe form. smart will build 1,500 of these little cars.
