GMC’s Acadia to get Denali Package and a new V8
Loose lips may sink ships, but they also tell us what to expect in the near future from automakers. Such words came from Popular Mechanics, who, after driving the Acadia earlier this week, reports that there’s a V8 heading the way of the GMC Acadia and the recently introduced Buick Enclave (no word on the Saturn Outlook, though).
The V8 will be offered in a yet-to-be-announced Envoy package, that includes a billet grille, big wheels and lots of chrome. Certainly, it will look good in black. The V8, on the other hand is said to be a completely new development, but we don’t have any info on that, so we’ll have to keep waiting. It may be safe to assume that this info may be a part of the Detroit Show that all automakers are ramping up for.
