Stackable Electric Cars?
Imagine a row of cars outside of the subway station, stacked like shopping carts, available to rent for a nominal fee. Researchers at the MIT Media Lab envision a fleet of lightweight stackable electric cars that can help reduce congestion and urban energy waste. With the help of General Motors, they are building prototype vehicles on that concept, which they plan to have completed by the end of the year.
