The Maximog is Not Your Average SUV
OK, so I know this is technically a car blog, but in the name of utter coolness, I simply couldn’t overlook the Maximog. Based on the Mercedes-Benz/Freightliner Unimog, the Maximog has been radically modified for scientific exploration and research in some of the most remote parts of the globe. This thing has capabilities that make a Hummer look downright pedestrian
It is officially called an expedition system, because in addition to the unstoppable beast you see pictured, there is a Maximog trailer, which is essentially just a travel trailer, but in the same way that Bill Gates is just kind of well off.
