Today’s cars are safer than they’ve ever been. ABS brakes, tire pressure monitors and stability control all work together to reduce the chances of a an accident, however, they all still rely on one thing: your tires. As such, tire technology has also stepped up, with everything from engineered sidewalls to enhanced rubber compounds helping keep the rubber side down. The only problem is, while car manufacturers are quick to educate potential customers on every single safety feature in their cars, tire manufacturers have often been less than assertive in their educational attempts; leaving the tire retailers holding the torch. Yokohama has decided to change that.
